Alter Ego: A Tale

'Alter Ego: A Tale' is a novel by W. W. Walker. In the beginning of the story, we learn that a new minister has been appointed to a church in the highlands of Canada. He is known to be progressive, independent and broad-minded, necessary due to the diverse population of the place. On his first Sunday, he delivers a powerful sermon that becomes the talk of the town. Some people like it, while others don't, as it tells them of their duty. As time goes, the minister continues to speak outside the scope of the Bible, causing some confusion and consternation among the congregation.
