Dogs loved him. They ran up and pressed their warm, moving sides against his legs and squinted their eyes, looking at his face. The dogs have always done so if they met a hunter with dogs. For every step and every movement in it was visible force and surprising calm. If no one met him on the way, he was a little sad.
