Taking the Census: A Farce

This farce follows an event in the life of Mr. Cole, the Census Taker. Mr. Cole has a comical experience in his endeavor to collect the facts and data needed by the government from Mrs. Almira Johnson, a «cullud lady,» and her young son Alexander. This is a humorous play with just three characters, each unique in its own particular way. It makes an entertaining performance at both small and big gatherings.
