The People of Palestine

Written by Elihu Grant, a Methodist minister, this book focuses on discussing the life of people who lived in Palestine. It specifically highlights the more rural areas of the region. Grant describes Palestine as the following: «We thought that Palestine had passed into ancient history, but it has been a center of modern events. No country in the world has a more continuously interesting and profitable story. Its present population is made of sturdy and able people. Three great religions call it Holy Land.
