The Lost House

"The Lost House" by Richard Harding Davis is a fast-paced adventure that sees Austin Ford, the London correspondent of the New York Republic, on the hunt to save a young girl who is being held against her will in an asylum. Upon finding the note of this dark occurrence, the secretery of the American Embassy who was in his company tries to convinve him it's not real and should be ignored, but Ford isn't convinced.
