Like Cinderella, Alice MacJextey also suffers from the bullying of an evil stepmother and a no-less-mean stepsister. The differences between Alice's loving mother and the father's new wife get so out of hand that Alice's stepmother resorts to drastic measures. Alice's life, which takes a complete turn, weighs on her with an additional gigantic secret. Amidst this chaos, she meets the mysterious Luc. He, too, has a secret that must never be revealed. But suddenly, without explanation, Alice is no longer allowed to see Luc, which completely shatters her world. How is she supposed to go on without him? Will it remain a human life? Will she see Luc again one day?
