Miss Gibbie Gault

"Miss Gibbie Gault" by Kate Langley Bosher shows an interesting slice of life in the early days of the twentieth century through the eyes of its titular character and the interesting cast she surrounds herself with. It's a witty, charming small-town tale of a spunky spinster who is acquainted with Mary Cary (from the book of that title…grown-up now) and has plenty of hilarious adventures as she learns to open her heart to the village that has heard her opinion one time too many.
