Prognostic function of octanalysis

Introduction

The prognostic function of the modern method of analysis of the psyche «octanalysis» [1—9] is realized by the study of such properties of the human psyche, which are manifested in his behavior to the same extent from birth and throughout a person’s life.

The prognostic function of octanalysis makes it possible to foresee the features of human behavior associated with these properties of the psyche.

Octanalysis studies the five-component structure of a person’s personality: three instances of consciousness 5-Soul, 4-Heart, 1-Mind and two instances of the unconscious 3-Irratio, 2-Ratio.

In 2010, using the methods of octanalysis, the effect of congenital dominance of these five instances of personality was discovered.

The degree of congenital dominance of the personality instance persists throughout a person’s life and therefore makes it possible to predict some features of human behavior.

Depending on the date of birth of a person, from two to five instances of personality show congenital dominance.

The octanalytic personality formula shows which instances of the personality show congenital dominance, and it also shows the degree of their dominance. The procedure for compiling the octanalytic personality formula is described in detail in the Appendix.

In the octanalytic personality formula, the following designations are used: 5-Soul – «5»; 4-Heart – «4»; 3-Irratio – «3»; 2-Ratio – «2»; 1-Mind – «1».

Personality instances that do not have congenital dominance are referred to in octanalysis as «deficiency of congenital dominants.» For example, when out of the five instances of personality, only three instances 5-Soul, 2-Ratio, 1-Mind show congenital dominance, then there is a «deficiency of congenital dominants»: two instances 4-Heart, 3-Irratio.

In the human psyche, the personality instances 5-Soul, 4-Heart, 3-Irratio, 2-Ratio, 1-Mind dominate in turn, and in a state of dominance they form the orientation of a person’s attention.

According to the formation of the orientation of human attention, instances 5-Soul, 3-Irratio, 1-Mind are extraverts, and instances 4-Heart, 2-Ratio are introverts.

The octanalytic personality formula shows three degrees of congenital dominance of the instance: background dominant, second dominant, first dominant. The first dominant shows a greater degree of dominance than the background dominant or the second dominant.

When the personality formula contains both the background dominant and first dominant and second dominant, in any combination, they mutually complement each other and show an increased degree of dominance.

The description of the congenital dominance degree of the instance will be shown on the example of instance 4-Heart:

– congenital dominance of the instance 4-Heart: the formula contains one «four» as a background dominant or as a second dominant;

– clearly expressed congenital dominance of the instance 4-Heart: the formula contains one «four» as first dominant, or contains two or three «fours»;

– hypertrophied congenital dominance of instance 4-Heart: the formula contains four «fours».

The octanalytic personality formula shows a person’s congenital tendency to character accentuation or a person’s congenital tendency to personality disorder.

An accentuation of a person’s character can appear when the formula contains three «fours», and a state of transition of a person’s character from accentuation to a personality disorder can appear when the formula contains four «fours».

A similar description of the degree of congenital dominance is used for instances 3-Irratio («three»), 2-Ratio («two»), 1-Mind («one»).

The two-component unconscious contains the instances 3-Irratio («three») and 2-Ratio («two»).

In the «irrationality-rationality» system of the unconscious:

– «three» show an imbalance towards the irrationality of human behavior;

– «two» show an imbalance towards the rationality of human behavior.

In the system «introversion-extroversion»:

– «four» and «two», complementing each other, show an imbalance towards introversion of a person’s attention;

– «five», «three», «one», complementing each other, show an imbalance towards extraversion of a person’s attention.

Properties of the five instances of personality:

– the instance-extravert of consciousness 5-Soul is altruism, sacrifice, devotional service, building relationships according to the scheme «You are higher, I am lower», conscious emotional choice;

– the instance-introvert of consciousness 4-Heart is managerial abilities, cordial, friendly relations, building relationships according to the scheme «I and you are on the same level», the state of Adult (according to Eric Berne), conscious managerial, volitional choice;

– the instance-extravert of the unconscious 3-Irratio is creativity, irrational, spontaneous, inconsistent actions, the state of the Child (according to Eric Berne), the state of the Victim (according to Stephen Karpman);

– the instance-introvert of the unconscious 2-Ratio is rational sequential actions, practicality of behavior, the state of the Parent (according to Eric Berne), the state of the Rescuer (according to Stephen Karpman);

– the instance-extravert of consciousness 1-Mind is selfishness, a sense of superiority, unscrupulousness, lies, flattery, betrayal, aggressiveness, desire for pleasure, building relationships according to the scheme «I am higher, you are lower», the state of the Persecutor (according to Stephen Karpman), conscious intellectual choice.

Chapter 1. Detection of the individual inclination of a person to personality disorder and accentuation of character

1.1. Personality disorder: Jeffrey Weise

Consider the congenital personality traits of Jeffrey Wise.

Jeffrey James Weise (August 8, 1988 – March 21, 2005) was an American student at Red Lake Senior High School in Red Lake, Minnesota, who committed the Red Lake shootings on March 21, 2005.

He killed his grandfather and his grandfather’s companion before going to the reservation high school, where he murdered seven more people and wounded five others. He died by suicide before he could be captured by the police. Weise struggled in school due to frequent relocations, bullying, disruptions in his personal life and truancy.

In May and June 2004, Weise attempted suicide and was briefly hospitalized. He was under treatment for depression, and had been prescribed Prozac as an anti-depressant. His case revived the public discussion about the use of Prozac for children and adolescents; the Food and Drug Administration had published a warning about it in October 2004 as a factor in increased suicides and violence among youths.

Geffrey Wise born August 8, 1988, octanalytic personality formula

26 lunar day / 13-Gemini / 16% – // 31-Leo / 2-13-Dragon.

The formula shows that the psyche of Jeffrey Wise functions according to a simplified version. Out of the five instances of personality (5-Soul, 4-Heart, 3-Irratio, 2-Ratio, 1-Mind), only three instances 3-Irratio, 2-Ratio, 1-Mind (the instances of Stephen Karpman’s dramatic triangle) show congenital dominance.

In Karpman’s dramatic triangle, instance 3-Irratio plays the role Victim, instance 2-Ratio – the role Rescuer, instance 1-Mind – the role Persecutor.

Geffrey Wise had a difficult childhood. No one was engaged in the psycho-correction of his psyche, and at the age of 16 his psyche is continued to function according to a simplified version – within the limits of Karpman’s dramatic triangle.

In the dramatic triangle of Karpman, there is only one instance of consciousness 1-Mind.

Properties of the instance of consciousness 1-Mind: selfishness, a sense of superiority, unscrupulousness, deceit, aggressiveness, cruelty, building relationships with people according to the scheme «I am higher, you are lower.» – n

Jeffrey Wise’s octanalytic personality formula shows

– «three» as first dominant and twice as second dominant (the congenital dominant creative abilities and the state of Victim are clearly expressed);

– «one» as second dominant and twice as first dominant (analytical abilities and the state of Persecutor are clearly expressed).

This means that the psyche of Jeffrey Wise is constantly tuned to the two roles «Victim» and «Persecutor». With this mindset, Jeffrey Wise committed the crime of massacre at the school.

The octanalytic personality formula of Jeffrey Wise shows that from birth he needed to be registered in the octanalytic patronage system in order to carry out psycho-correction and maintain a comfortable state of mind, safe for society.

The analysis of the congenital properties of the psyche of Jeffrey Wise clearly shows that the methods of octanalysis make it possible to identify the cause-and-effect relationships of a mental disorder.

Without making a psychiatric diagnosis, without using the international statistical classification of diseases and health-related problems, octanalysis shows what methods of preventive psycho-correction should be used to reduce the risk of mental disorders.

In the process of human activity, two types of dominance of the five instances of personality are manifested: CONGENITAL and ACQUIRED dominance. When there is no congenital dominance of the personality instance, octanalytic methods of psycho-correction make it possible to form acquired dominance for this personality instance.

Acquired dominance of the personality instance is always weaker than congenital dominance, but to reduce or prevent the risk of personality disorder, the acquired dominance of personality instances is quite sufficient.

In other words, octanalysis contributes to an increase in unemployment in the field of psychiatry.

The octanalytic personality formula of a newborn child shows the need to register him in the system of octanalytic patronage and to exercise systematic patronage and psychological support throughout his life. Such patronage makes it possible to minimize or eliminate the risk of mental disorder.

1.2. Personality disorder: Elvis Presly

Consider the congenital personality traits of Elvis Presley.

Elvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977), often referred to mononymously as Elvis, was an American singer and actor. Dubbed the «King of Rock and Roll», he is regarded as one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th century. His energized interpretations of songs and sexually provocative performance style, combined with a singularly potent mix of influences across color lines during a transformative era in race relations, led him to both great success and initial controversy.

Elvis Presley was born on January 8, 1935, the octanalytic personality formula

5 lunar day / 43-Pisces / 14% + //24-Capricorn / 4-34-Dog.

The formula shows the congenital personality traits:

– Presley was born in the phase of the «waxing moon», the illumination of the surface of the moon is 14%;

– hypertrophied expressed congenital dominant managerial abilities («four» as a background dominant, as first dominant and twice as second dominant);

– pronounced congenital dominant creative abilities («three» as first dominant and as second dominant) and rational abilities («two» as first dominant);

– lack of congenital dominants: instances-extraverts 5-Soul and 1-Mind (there are no «five» and «one» in the formula).

The formula shows that out of five personality instances, one instance (4-Heart) manifests itself as a hypertrophied expressed congenital dominant and two instances (3-Irratio, 2-Ratio) as pronounced congenital dominants.

The formula also shows that in Presley’s psyche, the introvert instances 4-Heart and 2-Ratio, complementing each other, show much greater congenital dominance than the extravert instance 3-Irratio. This means that when interacting with the outside world, the psyche of Elvis Presley is more attuned to introversion than to extraversion. In the «introversion-extraversion» system of the psyche of Elvis Presley, there is a strong imbalance towards introversion. The psyche of Elvis Presley is very resistant to external stimuli.

The octanalytic personality formula shows that when Elvis Presley communicates with a large number of admirers of his talent, he feels comfortable, but if he remains alone, he feels a state of depression.

To combat depression, Elvis Presley took drugs that undermined his health and shortened his life. Elvis Presley died in 1977 at the age of 42.

Although the 1981 trial of Presley’s chief physician, George Nichopoulos, cleared him of criminal responsibility for the singer’s death, the facts were startling: in the first eight months of 1977 alone, he prescribed more than 10,000 doses of sedatives, amphetamines, and drugs, all in Elvis’ name. His license was suspended for three months. The license was finally revoked in the 1990s after the Tennessee Medical Board brought new charges against him for over-dispensing drugs.

The method «octanalysis» was created in 1999. The octanalytic personality formula was developed in 2010, 33 years after the singer’s death.

If Elvis Presley had familiarized himself with the octanalytic formula of his personality, he would have understood the objective causes of his state of depression. Instead of taking sedatives, amphetamines and drugs, he would have registered with the octanalytic patronage system to carry out the necessary psycho-correction and maintain a comfortable state of mind.

The analysis of the congenital properties of the psyche of Elvis Presley clearly shows that the methods of octanalysis make it possible to identify the cause-and-effect relationships of a mental disorder.

1.3. Personality disorder: Richard Dadd

Consider the congenital personality traits of the artist Richard Dadd.

Richard Dadd (1 August 1817 – 7 January 1886) was an English painter of the Victorian era, noted for his depictions of fairies and other supernatural subjects, Orientalist scenes, and enigmatic genre scenes, rendered with obsessively minuscule detail. Most of the works for which he is best known were created while he was a patient in Bethlem and Broadmoor hospitals.

In 1842, he participated in an expedition to Greece and the Middle East, where in December, while sailing on the Nile, he experienced a spiritual upheaval – he felt like the incarnation of the Egyptian god Osiris (the incident was considered a sunstroke). On the way home, in Rome and Paris, Dadd lost control several more times.

After returning in 1843, he was declared mentally ill and placed in the care of his family. In August 1843, seeing in his father the incarnation of the devil, Dadd killed him with a knife (cutting his throat and finishing him with a knife in the chest) and went to Paris; along the way, he tried to kill (or killed) another person, was captured in Paris by the police and confessed to parricide.

Modern researchers suggest that he suffered from schizophrenia (apparently, he was genetically predisposed to it – all his brothers became victims of a mental disorder) or from bipolar disorder. Dadd was placed in the Bedlam Psychiatric Hospital, from where he was transferred to Broadmoor in 1864.

Dadd spent almost the rest of his life in various hospitals, where he continued to paint. It was there that Richard created his most famous works, among them ««Masterful swing of a fabulous woodcutter».

Richard Dadd was born August 1, 1817, the octanalytic personality formula

19 lunar day / 43-Pisces / 86% – //31-Leo / 3-43-Ox.

The formula shows the congenital personality traits:

– Richard Dadd was born in the «waning moon» phase, the illumination of the moon’s surface is 86%;

– pronounced congenital dominant managerial abilities («four» twice as first dominant);

– hypertrophied expressed congenital dominant creative abilities («three» as a background dominant, as first dominant and twice as second dominant);

– congenital dominant analytical abilities («one» as second dominant);

– deficiency of congenital dominants: two instances 5-Soul and 2-Ratio, there are no «five» and «two» in the formula.

The formula shows that out of five personality instances, one instance (3-Irratio) manifests itself as a hypertrophied expressed congenital dominant, one instance (4-Heart) as a pronounced congenital dominant and one instance (1-Mind) as an congenital dominant.

The formula also shows that in the psyche of Richard Dadd, the extravert instances 3-Irratio and 1-Mind, complementing each other, show much greater congenital dominance than the introvert instance 4-Heart. This means that when interacting with the outside world, the psyche of Richard Dadd is more attuned to extraversion than to introversion. In the «introversion-extraversion» system of the psyche of Richard Dadd, there is a strong imbalance towards extraversion. The psyche of Richard Dadd is very unstable to external stimuli.

The formula also shows that in the two-component unconscious (instances 3-Irratio and 2-Ratio, in other words, «three» and «two»), there is a hypertrophied pronounced imbalance towards irrationality in the «irrationality-rationality» system: irrationality («three» as background, as first dominant and twice as second dominant) is much more active than rationality (there is no «two» in the formula – there is no congenital dominance of the 2-Ratio instance).

This means that irrational, spontaneous, unpredictable actions appear in Richard Dadd much more often than rational, consistent, logical actions. Four «three» in the absence of a «two» in the octanalytic personality formula show that irrational actions can manifest themselves explosively.

Richard Dadd was born in the waning moon phase, the illumination of the moon’s surface is 86%. When a person is born on a full moon or almost on a full moon, the human psyche has an increased sensitivity.

A combination of four factors

(1) hypersensitivity of the psyche, due to the birth of almost a full moon;

(2) strong mental imbalance towards extraversion;

(3) in the unconscious («irrationality-rationality» system) hypertrophied pronounced imbalance towards irrationality;

(4) pronounced managerial abilities («four» twice as first dominant),

create conditions for the formation of Richard Dadd’s explosive destructive antisocial behavior, which is clearly perceived by others as psychopathy.

Hypersensitivity of the psyche of Richard Dadd, the mood of the psyche for extraversion, as well as the setting of unconscious actions for hypertrophied irrationality, spontaneity, all these factors together create a great burden on the psyche. It is necessary to isolate Richard Dadd from a large number of social contacts.

The analysis of the congenital properties of the psyche of Richard Dadd clearly shows that the methods of octanalysis make it possible to identify the cause-and-effect relationships of a mental disorder.

1.4. Personality disorder: Marquis de Sade

Consider the congenital personality traits of the Marquis de Sade.

Donatien Alphonse François, Marquis de Sade (2 June 1740 – 2 December 1814), was a French nobleman, revolutionary politician, philosopher and writer famous for his literary depictions of a libertine sexuality as well as numerous accusations of sex crimes. His works include novels, short stories, plays, dialogues, and political tracts. In his lifetime some of these were published under his own name while others, which Sade denied having written, appeared anonymously.

He was a preacher of the idea of absolute freedom, which would not be limited by morality, religion, or law. The main value of life was the satisfaction of the aspirations of the individual.

According to his name, sexual satisfaction obtained by causing pain or humiliation to another person received (in the works of the sexologist Richard von Kraft-Ebing) the name «sadism» (subsequently, the words «sadism», «sadist» began to be used in a broader sense).

Marquis de Sade was born June 2, 1740, the octanalytic personality formula

8 lunar day / 21-Virgo / 41% + // 13-Gemini / 1-12-Monkey.

The formula shows the congenital personality traits:

– the Marquis de Sade was born in the phase of the «waxing moon», the illumination of the surface of the moon is 41%;

– the congenital dominant creative abilities («three» as second dominant);

– the pronounced congenital dominant rational abilities («two» as first and as second dominant);

– the hypertrophied expressed congenital dominant analytical abilities («one» as a background dominant, as second dominant and twice as first dominant);

– deficiency of congenital dominants: two instances of consciousness 5-Soul and 4-Heart, there are no «five» and «four» in the formula.

The formula shows that out of the five instances of personality, one instance (1-Mind) manifests itself as a hypertrophied expressed congenital dominant, one instance (2-Ratio) as a pronounced congenital dominant and one instance (3-Irratio) as an congenital dominant.

The formula also shows that in the psyche of the Marquis de Sade, the extravert instances 3-Irratio and 1-Mind, complementing each other, show much greater congenital dominance than the introvert instance 2-Ratio. This means that when interacting with the outside world, the psyche of the Marquis de Sade is more attuned to extraversion than to introversion. In the «introversion-extraversion» system of the psyche of the Marquis de Sade, there is a strong imbalance towards extraversion. The psyche of the Marquis de Sade is very unstable to external stimuli.

The formula also shows that in the two-component unconscious (instances 3-Irratio and 2-Ratio, in other words, «three» and «two») there is a significant imbalance towards rationality in the «irrationality-rationality» system: irrationality («three» as second dominant) is much less active than rationality («two» as first dominant and as second dominant).

This means that the Marquis de Sade is a very practical person, and his behavioral habits are very difficult to change.

In the three-component consciousness of the Marquis de Sade (instances 5-Soul, 4-Heart, 1-Mind), the instance 1-Mind dominates hypertrophied innately, in the absence of congenital dominance of the 5-Soul and 1-Mind instances. This means that according to the actions of the Marquis de Sade, according to the books he wrote, according to the main aspects of philosophy developed by him, one can study the properties of the instance of consciousness 1-Mind, which constantly dominates in consciousness of the Marquis de Sade.

The main properties of instance 1-Mind: intellectual abilities, selfishness, a sense of superiority, unscrupulousness, lies, aggressiveness, desire for pleasure, cruelty, building relationships according to the scheme «I am higher, you are lower.»

The analysis of the congenital properties of the psyche of the Marquis de Sade clearly shows that the methods of octanalysis make it possible to identify the cause-and-effect relationships of a mental disorder.
