"By Birth, a Lady" is a novel by the British writer and journalist George Manville Fenn. Being inspired by the works of Charles Dickens, like many of his generation, Fenn focused on the topics of social justice and relations between different strata of Victorian society. It is a great novel for the fans of Oliver Twist and other novels of the kind.
