Mrs Albert Grundy—Observations in Philistia

The book is a satirical novel that revolves around the Grundy family. Albert Grundy, his wife and their three daughters are the residents of Fernbank mansion in Kensington. Their cousin Dudley also live with them and is their gardener. Dudley is concerned that Ermyntrude, the eldest Grundy daughter and now a young woman, might be attracted to the wrong person. The book is about the various conversations, full of witty humor that the various characters engage in.
