Steam Locomotive Construction and Maintenance is a collected work by E. L. Ahrons, published after his death. E. L. Ahrons was a British engineer and author, most famous for his magnum opus, The British Steam Railway Locomotive. As an engineer, he published numerous articles on locomotives, though he never managed to collect them and issue them as a book. Instead, his followers assembled his writing into the presented here books.
