A Mad Love

The book opens as Leone the heroine is asked by her uncle whether she has done a task he asked her to do. She has not but he does not castigate her. Leone is apparently an unhappy young woman living on an English farm in the beautiful English countryside. She looks Spanish and is beautiful, but her face shows anger and displeasure. What will become of her?
