The Footlights, Fore and Aft

Channing Pollock (1880 – 1946) was an American playwright, critic, and screenwriter. This book is an autobiographical account of his life and experiences in the theatre. He covers such topics as rehearsals, first nights, and people he has met. His writing is hunmoros and rather 'tongue in cheek'. He makes no claims to being erudite, merely to having beenm there and observed.
