Light chuckled and smacked SHADOW on the lips. They walked after dinner, holding hands, not thinking about anything. Quite by chance, they again passed the unfortunate place where they met.

LIGHT looked around.

– I still hate this day. But if not for him, I would never have known about you!

– And I'm talking about you, dear …

The stars shone clearly, as if eternal happiness and love were already inseparable forever.

– Stop arguing with me, Coward! I tell you, they will come to the same place again !!

“But why would they want it, Loser? – the Coward did not calm down.

“Because these creatures are outrageously sentimental. – he barked, indicating that the topic was closed.

Suddenly, they really saw a couple in the shadow of a building on Third Street.

– It's them. I give a tooth, Coward, that it is THEY.

The bastard took a sawn-off shotgun from under the jacket and showed it to his friends:

– I'm ready, if anything.

The three moved towards where the couple stood.

– Hey! – shouted the Bastard. – Come on, take a bite!

He opened fire literally immediately. Without giving SHADOW and LIGHT even to come to their senses and find shelter.

LIGHT died on the spot, SHADOW survived, but only thanks to the fact that three bandits considered him dead.

Waking up in the morning, the SHADOW crawled to the body of the LIGHT.

His chest began to contract with heart-rending sobs.

He hugged the dead LIGHT and lamented like a child who has lost its mother.

Having calmed down a little, the SHADOW took the body of the LIGHT and soared into the sky.

LIGHT was buried in the tomb next to the castle where they lived together.

But the case was not over. SHADOW was obliged to take revenge.

He took his dogs and went down to the slums of Brooklyn to track them down.

They followed the smell, taste, caught the trail with everything they could. Finally they found their secret headquarters.

The dogs tore to pieces with their multiple jaws, and the SHADOW. At this time he silently smoked, standing a little further away. The dogs knew that these were the very streets that killed their LIGHT. They tore their bodies to shreds, so that none of the bandits had a chance to suddenly "resurrect".

Returning to heaven, the SHADOW drew a line between the castle and the city, and strictly forbade people to cross it. The SHADOW hated himself, hated people, and locked the castle forever in total desolation.

Three more years passed. The SHADOW has practically ceased to appear on the ground. He drank all the time, and being drunk constantly dreamed that the LIGHT would one day wake up. But even he did not have the power to resurrect her.
