'Old Time Gardens' is a popular and influential book about gardening, first published in 1901 and written by Alice Morse Earle. It's one of the first gardening books to have lots of photographs and it's recently become popular again as people are becoming more interested in historic gardens and heirloom plants. The book covers all the plants and garden designs from the early days of the U.S., and is filled with detailed information about diverse types of plants as well as some of the most enchanting garden designs and ornaments.
